In an effort to stimulate research at the Pan-American level and recognize the efforts of our young investigators, the Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology (PAAO) has been organizing the Pan-American Research Day, in conjunction with the important partnerships with the Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) and with Allergan Latin America, for the past several years and it has become an exciting tradition.

  • There is no entrance fee for this event: it is free! The meeting is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 12:00 noon to 6 pm in Honolulu, Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), University of Hawaii, 651 Ilalo Street, Medical Education Bldg, 3rd Floor, Rooms 301 and 304. Even though there is no entrance fee, it is necessary to register for this meeting so we may prepare your name badge and program materials. The deadline for online preregistration is April 20, 2018. Onsite registration will open at 10 AM, Saturday, April 28.

  • **Deadline for Speaker requests has passed. The program is full with a wait list for speakers.** Check below for the complete program.
